You meet some lovely people in the caravan parks. Our new friends Bev and Leo were a laugh a minute and we were sad to have to head back and leave them here.
We had a month in Tassie finalising work and all our stuff before heading back to Warracknabeal. Rusty celebrated his Birthday down there with a huge, homemade chocolate Mud cake. Mum has excelled herself with this cake and it is a family favourite now.
Back home after a horrible trip on the Spirit, side swells all night. We gave up about 4am and had free coffee and hot chocolate. Once off the boat with both cars and the trailer we headed for breakfast before the drive home. It was nice to come back to the van already set up. Just roll out the awning and set up the chairs and we were done.
Rusty was pleased to see the possums still around and quite friendly. Its become an evening ritual.
The temperature up here has been a shock to the system compared to Tassie. Yesterday was 34 and still 29 at 11pm. Today will be the same but at least there is a lovely breeze blowing. Hopefully by next Monday we will be moving into our house. 7 months in the van has been so easy but it will be nice to spread out a bit lol.
Bethany isn’t missing any opportunity to meet every dog that comes into the park. This sweet little puppy was so adorable you could almost not let go.
